i. The weight
We know what carrying the business feels like.
We have built businesses, sold, marketed, followed up, missed things, fixed things, and learned the difference between activity and progress.
We know what it feels like when too much of the company lives in one person's head. When the notebook becomes three notebooks. When the spreadsheet becomes ten. When clients expect answers faster than a growing team can reliably provide them.
MetaKona came from that reality.
ii. The standard
The work has changed. The standard has not.
Modern tools give today's businesses capabilities that would have felt impossible a few years ago. That matters. But the tools do not change the responsibility.
A promise still has to be kept. A client still deserves a straight answer. A system still has to work on the hard days, not only in a demo.
We use modern technology in service of old values: clarity, follow-through, craftsmanship, and trust.

I am a handshake guy.
I believe in looking people in the eye, saying what we are going to do, and then doing it. MetaKona is being built with that same expectation.
